Detroit Pistons have no answer for Miami…

MIAMI – Detroit Pistons coach Lawrence Frank was subdued. Not to the point his team was by the Miami Heat defense, mind you, which treated the Pistons like a cat toy.

AUBURN HILLS – Detroit Pistons veteran Ben Wallace didn’t leave a very big crack when asked if he might reconsider his retirement and play another season. But late Tuesday night, as his career countdown starts to build to a crescendo, Wallace didn’t slam the door on the possibility. Detroit Pistons beat short-handed Orlando Magic…

AUBURN HILLS – Detroit Pistons reserves Jonas Jerebko and Will Bynum provided the fourth-quarter spark in turning a close game through three quarters into a 102-95 victory over the injury-depleted Orlando Magic on Tuesday at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Jerebko broke a tie and gave the Pistons the lead for good with a 3-pointer to start his seven-point fourth quarter, and Bynum added all six of his points in the quarter – with all their scoring coming in the first eight minutes of the period – as Detroit pushed the lead to 13 with those two in the game. All 13 of those fourth-quarter points by the bench duo came in the first eight minutes.

Wizards blow another late lead, lose to Pistons

The Washington Wizards lost to the Detroit Pistons 79-77 on Monday night at Verizon Center — a game that was a stunning mirror image of their last two home losses. Once again, the Wizards built a double-digit lead — going up by as many 13 points in the fourth quarter — only to allow the Pistons to steadily chip away and climb back into the game. And, once again, the Wizards ‘ inability to close out games turned what should have been an easy win into a loss.

Gotta run!.

Rodney Stuckey scored half of his 24 points in the fourth quarter, including the winning 20-foot jumper with 0.2 seconds left, and the offensively-challenged Detroit Pistons ended a five-game losing streak by erasing a 13-point deficit to beat the Washington Wizards 79-77 Monday night.

Tyson Chandler Leads New York Knicks Past Detroit…

Tyson Chandler was an absolute beast for the New York Knicks on Saturday night (March 24), leading the team to a comfortable 101-79 victory over the Detroit Pistons . As a fan who thought that netting Chandler in the offseason was the perfect move for New York , I felt that this game really showed exactly how he has improved the team on both ends of the court. Chandler played just under 30 minutes against the Pistons, scoring 15 points, grabbing 17 rebounds, blocking a shot and registering 2 steals

Not much else going on in the NBA world today.
