Detroit Pistons Have a Much Nicer Locker Room This…

The Detroit Pistons have new owners, and while those guys have yet to figure out how to improve the roster, they’ve turned the locker room area into a much nicer place (as part of a $9 million facelift for the Palace of Auburn Hills).

Detroit Pistons looking for anthem singers

The Detroit Pistons are looking for singers interested in belting out the national anthem before the team’s home games. Tryouts are scheduled for Wednesday at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Singers are to be given 80 seconds to sing the anthem a cappella on The Palace floor

Pistons Announce 2011 Preseason Schedule

(Photo by David Dow/NBAE via Getty Images) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – The National Basketball Association announced today that the Detroit Pistons will open their eight-game 2011 preseason schedule at home against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, October 9 (6:00 p.m.). Three of the team’s eight games will be played at The Palace, featuring contests against the Minnesota Timberwolves (October 9), Charlotte Bobcats (October 23) and Miami HEAT (October 26)
