Stuckey's last-second shot lifts Pistons past…

CBSSports.com wire reports March 26, 2012 WASHINGTON — With three minutes left in a game Pistons coach Lawrence Frank called “ugly, grimy, grindy” — and his team won, beating the Washington Wizards 79-77 — the aesthetic highlight, without a doubt, came when Detroit rookie Brandon Knight got drenched while hurdling over the team’s sideline seats in futile pursuit of a loose ball. Knight upended a jug of energy drink and about a dozen paper cups Monday night, spraying himself and some seated teammates. Play was delayed for a bit while Knight toweled off — and some of the evening’s most enthusiastic applause came in response to overhead video-board replays of his valiant and athletic effort

Stuckey's late jumper lifts Pistons over…

Rodney Stuckey scored half of his 24 points in the fourth quarter, including the winning 20-foot jumper with 0.2 seconds left, and the offensively-challenged Detroit Pistons ended a five-game losing streak by erasing a 13-point deficit to beat the Washington Wizards 79-77 Monday night.

Tyson Chandler Leads New York Knicks Past Detroit…

Tyson Chandler was an absolute beast for the New York Knicks on Saturday night (March 24), leading the team to a comfortable 101-79 victory over the Detroit Pistons . As a fan who thought that netting Chandler in the offseason was the perfect move for New York , I felt that this game really showed exactly how he has improved the team on both ends of the court. Chandler played just under 30 minutes against the Pistons, scoring 15 points, grabbing 17 rebounds, blocking a shot and registering 2 steals

McGee lifts Nuggets over Pistons

Denver, CO — JaVale McGee’s put-back slam in the closing seconds of the fourth quarter helped the Denver Nuggets escape Pepsi Center with a 116-115 decision over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday. McGee, who was acquired from the Wizards as part of a three-team trade on Thursday, finished with 15 points and seven rebounds.

McGee's dunk lifts Nuggets past Pistons…

JaVale McGee rebounded a missed free throw following a basket with five seconds remaining and dunked to give the Nuggets a 116-115 win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night. Not a bad Denver debut for McGee, who completed a four-point possession salvaged Denver’s dignity after the Nuggets blew a 25-point lead.
