06.08.2011– Delta Dental is partnering with the Detroit Pistons to promote mouth guard use during sports by distributing free mouth guards to all children attending any of the 18 Detroit Pistons youth basketball clinics scheduled this summer. According to the American Dental Association, sports-related injuries are responsible for knocking out 2 million teeth per year. Mouth guards serve as a shock absorber to prevent injuries to the teeth, tongue, lips and inner-cheeks. Comment Below!. |
